These are pictures from a bird banding program in northern Illinois for the Sand Bluff Bird Observatory In Winnebago County. I have a couple friends who participate on a volunteer basis. The program helps us to learn more about the migratory patterns of banded birds. Its one of the largest programs like this in the country. You can find out more information about the program here.
